Lindsay Heatley

Hello, my name is Lindsay, first thing first, welcome! Thank you for taking the time to look at my work. If you have any advice, feedback, or just want to chat please feel free to reach out to me via email or instagram (all linked on my site). If you want to learn a little more about me and my work keep on reading!

My goal with every film I make is to connect people. To share stories with an audience that may not be aware of them of if not for film. The motivation behind my first short film, El Norte, was to humanize the men and women attempting to cross the border from Mexico to the United States. El Norte screamed internationally at the Grrl Haus Cinema in Germany. El Norte led to a collaboration opportunity for my second film, Dreamers. A short about a family enrolled in the DACA program in the United States, which screened at the Nasty Women Unite Festival in New York City. My third short film, Kings and Queens, was a story about drag performers in New York City. I was fortunate enough to have this film screen both nationally and internationally at the Vox Popular Film Festival and at the LGBTQ Shorts Film Festival. My most recent short film, My Walk Home, will cover the topic of street harassment and is currently in post production.
